Blanket Drive 2012 a heated success! Waynesville Rotarians rose to the challenge of President Brandon when he asked that the club donate a record number of blankets for the Mountain Project "Share the Warmth!" program for 2012. Rotarians donated in excess of 219 blankets shattering the old record of 128 held by Past President Cecil and the formidable efforts of Past Presidents Mark and Billy. Of course, the real winners of this effort are the many citizens of Haywood County, who will benefit from the blanket giveaway! Congratulations to those Rotarians, who made this year another success! The quarterly statements that went out by e-mail from Cecil last week may not reflect the amount that was paid as there were a number of checks that went to the old PO Box. These are being updated currently. January 24, 2012 is the Board Retreat from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the Gateway Club.
